Bathroom Shower Steam: Which is WORSE....
1. To SHUT the door and RUN the fan in the ceiling? 2. To leave the
door OPEN and NOT run the fan? Its a master bath set-up with
the shower and toilet in one tiny area closed off from the vanity/garden
tub. And, YES -- this is a huge issue with us.We have some mold
issue starting and we're blaming the preference of the other... so --
HELP!!
We should be doing what is right but I don't like the fan on,
but I do live the door open. also if you know that is something going
wrong & you know what to do to make it better no matter what it is inthe
marriege we shoult do anything to work on if is something to do with the
bathroom or other problems ather wise thay get worse & some times can be
the stupid things in life, don't make big thins to be biger & smaller to
be big just talk understand each other & be happy, good lock sorry for my Spanglish.

Not running the fan.
That is if it is functioning correctly.
Light a match and blow it out and see if the smoke goes out the vent like
it should.
Maybe there is an obstruction somewhere in the vent pipe.
Technically, you should open the door & run the fan. Start the
fan while you are showering & then let it go for awhile after ur done. Wet
towels in the bath area don't help. And, check to see if the fan is
actually working. You should be able to feel air being sucked into it.
If not, take the cover off, clean it & the fan inside. Check for air
sucking again. If none, ur hose is plugged somewhere. That would need to
be cleaned out/replaced. If it vents on the side of the house, look inside the vent for ''stuff.'' Good luck.
