dry air irritates a dry cough so definitely use the cool

humidifier for the room.

try the steam shower, it could help loosen the congestion a little and

relieve her, at least for a little while.

get little noses saline drops also to clear her nose and baby vicks rub on
her chest.

i did all these things when my baby was sick and it comforted him a
little. unfortunately they cant have any medicine to help them get over
it quicker, the cold and cough just has to run its course.

I would try not only BOTH of those, but I would also get some
BLUSHEZ
''little noses'' saline nasal spray (don't buy the medicated kind, that

does harm in the long run).

Be sure to put a pinch of salt in the water in the humidifier. It helps

the vapor develop better.

As far as the steam in the bathtub, that is a good thing to do once a day
for about 10 minutes at a time. Run ur shower on full blast HOT until the
room is full of steam. (keep the door shut).

Then take off ur daughter is clothing(the steam will just cause clothes to
become soaked), wrap her in a towel, & take her into the steamy room AFTER
you have turned OFF the water. Sit on the toilet or a chair with her for
10 minutes.

Make sure you dress her comfortably afterwards in dry clothing.

You might even want to get some vicks vapor steam to put into the cup
outside the steamer in her room.

I keep a steamer going all winter, & this PREVENTS any respiratory
problems. You can get humidity meters really cheap, to keep in her room
to make sure the humidity is always at a comfortable level.

You can use both, but if it is not an inconvenience I would go
BUDDY
with steam as it seems to work better.

Both will help. Steam works a bit better for us, but while
shank
they sleep I use the cool humidifier in their room.
